Profhilo is a one-of-a-kind product that uses the collagen-stimulating power of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), which occurs naturally throughout the body, to help tighten the skin. 


Profhilo is a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid gel that is injected directly into the skin, as opposed to dermal fillers, which are injected beneath the skin. Once injected into the skin, it begins to stimulate four types of collagen, providing a substantial tightening/lifting impact to the tissues. It differs from dermal fillers in that it does not change the contour or structure of the face. It is a one-of-a-kind therapy that moisturises, nourishes, and addresses skin laxity, restoring firmness. It is a fast procedure that only requires 5 injection sites on each side of the face.  Please keep in mind that this is not a dermal filler and will not plump or add volume to the areas treated.   • Am I suitable for this treatment?

    Profhilo is used to treat very fine lines and wrinkles, dry and sagging skin. Profhilo can be used to treat numerous areas of the body, including the face, neck, décolletage, arms, and hands. There are no upper age limits to this treatment, and it is particularly suitable for older clients who feel their skin is loose, sallow or dry. Our clients in their mid-40s also love this treatment. A detailed consultation will determine your suitability for this procedure.

  • Is it safe?

    It safely combats ageing, tired and dull-looking skin. Profhilo was first designed in Switzerland by a top pharmaceutical company. It has been rigorously tested and has proven fantastic results in clinical trials. No allergy testing is needed before having the treatment as the product is as close to human collagen as possible being made up of sugar molecules.

  • Does it hurt?

    You do have the option to have numbing cream applied before your treatment, but generally Profhilo is not a painful treatment. You may experience slight discomfort or stinging both during and for a day or so afterwards around the injection sites. The needle used is very small.

  • What can I expect after the treatment?

    You will see results within a week with your skin becoming more supple and smoother. You will need 2 Profhilo treatments 4-weeks apart. After your second syringe, the real magic starts to happen, and your skin should be glowing within 1-2 weeks. You will feel more rejuvenation as your skin starts to produce elastins that make collagen.

    The best part about this treatment is it encourages your skin to produce collagen creating a more youthful fresh look. Results can last for 6-9 months, and most clients come back for a repeat treatment at the 6-12-month mark to keep their skin glowing. At this stage, only one syringe may be needed to maintain the great feeling to your skin. Your doctor will assess you and advise when you should return and how much will be required. The longevity of the treatment can vary, as we all have different skin types.


  • Are there any side effects or risks?

    Normal side effects include small amounts of swelling, bruising, redness and soreness. Most of these will subside after a couple of days and be gone within ten. If you are still experiencing problems after ten days you should contact your practitioner for advice.
